The Calhoun-Gordon Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia, was established in 2005. The mission of the Calhoun-Gordon Community Foundation is to “enhance the quality of life in Gordon County and the surrounding area for both current and future generations.” The affiliate has focused its efforts on making large grants to their community (the Calhoun Aquatic Center, the Harris Radiation Therapy Center, the Boys & Girls Club, and others).
